Our breeding program is built on a family that has lived for decades with heart, knowledge, and experience devoted to horses. Each of us contributes our own strengths, yet we are united by a shared passion for breeding, sport, and horsemanship.
Ferdinand Karpf
Breeder | Visionary | Thoroughbred Enthusiast
Ferdinand Karpf has always been a passionate horse breeder. His heart has long belonged to Thoroughbreds and horse racing.
From 1990 to 2004, he was Austria’s most successful Thoroughbred breeder for the racetrack. His sporting career took him from Freudenau to Magna Racino, where he celebrated numerous victories and successes.
As horse racing gradually declined and was eventually discontinued, Ferdinand embraced a new challenge, transitioning consistently into other equestrian disciplines.
Carmen Karpf
Dedicated Breeder | National Champion | Heart of the Stable
With the rise of endurance riding, inspired by the centuries-old tradition of the Arabian Emirates, Carmen Karpf found her sporting home.
Sporting Achievements:
- 3-time Austrian National Champion in endurance riding
- Numerous international wins up to 160 km
- Successful participation in the European Championship in Florac, France*
- Winner of prestigious Best Condition Awards
- Several wins in show jumping up to 130 cm
Florac is considered one of Europe’s most demanding endurance rides, covering 160 km with around 4,000 meters of elevation in approximately 11 hours.
Katharina Karpf
Versatile Athlete | Competitive Rider | Future of the Stable
Katharina combines sporting excellence with deep horsemanship and discipline.
Achievements & Milestones:
- 4-time Austrian Youth National Champion in endurance riding
- Longtime member of Austria’s A-team in both jumping and endurance for her age group
- Represented Austria in Nations Cups
- Participation in the European Youth Jumping Championship, Fontainebleau, France
- Participation in the World Championships for Young Horses, Pisa, Italy
- Numerous regional championship titles in jumping and endurance
- Numerous international jumping and endurance successes
Her versatility is a key factor in the continued development of our breeding program.
Lukas Karpf
Student | Endurance Rider | Thoroughbred Fan
Alongside his studies, Lukas is a passionate rider and lover of Thoroughbreds. He focuses on endurance riding and has already competed successfully internationally over distances up to 100 km.
With his sensitive and athletic approach, he embodies our values perfectly.
Elias Karpf
Young Talent | Horse Whisperer | Joker in the Stable
Elias is just beginning his riding journey and shows great natural talent. His special gift, however, is his exceptionally gentle approach to animals, combined with patience and calm.
He is our “joker” in handling young horses, especially during their first crucial steps:
- Haltering foals
- Building trust
- Handling hooves and initial groundwork
This early, calm work lays the foundation for well-balanced and reliable horses.
